I was considering detoxing my body by going on a water juice fast for 3 days. Will this promote weight loss? If anyone has any experiences good or bad, I'd love to hear them.

Going on a 3 day juice or water fast is an excellent idea. Since it seems like you are a first timer I would suggest the juice fast since it is least intense and you will only feel a little light headed. A juice fast will help you lose anywhere from a 1/2 to 1 pound a day, but unless you continue to keep a low calorie diet the weight loss will not last.Good luck.
bad idea dont do it. i looked at the title and i already know, bad idea. dont do it. whatever it is. no. eat right, variety and moderation.
This does not work. It will allow you to lose weight yes. But it will not be fat or noticable weight you will be losing. The detox diet cleanses out everything in your intestines and basically you crap out the weight. You will weigh a few pounds less by the end of the diet but it will not make you any more skinny or you will not lose any actual fat. All your losing is food thats sitting around in your intestines waiting to be flushed out.
Well, I tried just drinking juice for breakfast and lunch. but it was not enough because by dinner time I was getting weak and hungry and ended up eating more junk. You're not getting enough nutrients. Just eat only fruits in the morning should be ok. And eat normal the rest of the day. To lose weight you should exercise... walking is good...brisk walking... you'll use up alot of energy... walk maybe like 30mins - 1 hour a few times a week. up a hill or slope is even better...
Is detoxing really necessary.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

detox diet is the best diet to loose weight at home without exercising..it helps u to lose 5 lbs appox in 2 weeks time by just changing ur eating habbits..
