Can someone give me some excersises to strengthen the legs and tell me how to do them. I know lunge and squats are good ones but I don't really understand how to do them.

Squats are very good, just google how to squat and you should come up with many how to sites better then what I can tell you. Just be sure to not do squats on a smith machine.
Recently, I stopped with leg workouts, because I started to do cardio more. Running and other leg intense cardio are great ways to strengthen your legs as well.
its all about form, find someone who can help you with form. theres also deadlift, leg press, jumps/plyometrics, running, leg curl, leg extension, and others.
try running
Leg extensions, stairs, and using the elliptical are also good.
