when i first began this trip i am on, i lost a few pounds because the family that i am with eats like health freaks. i suggest eating healthy and doing a daily or every other day exercise like jogging or yoga. I do taekwondo and that helps alot. (trust me. you may be sore the first few days but otherwise its fantastic)hope this helped out!!

No. Apparently you need to do some research on how to loose weight and what would be best for your body type. The main key for loosing weight with any training program is eating right and not starving yourself. Starving yourself slows your metabolism and makes you gain weight. It also gives you 52 examples of ab exercises. I'm not a sales person so trust me when I say it worked for me.
No, you'll just dehydrate yourself. So you may lose water weight but then gain it right back once you hydrate yourself.

look, you need to change you eating habits completly before you will lose a pound, you ask all of these questions but they seem like you want a quick fix, it dont work that way, change the way you eat, cut out all carbs and sugars(which are carbs) no soda or juice, just water, meat, chick, and veggies, and walk 3x a day for at least a half an hour a time and in 2 weeks you will see a change in yourself!!

Hey,I'm a 12 year old guy %26 I badly want to lose weight because I put some on last month. Its now our summer holidays and I want to come back to school looking comletley different ( weigh wise LOL) its just that I'm not very good at losing it. I was wondering if there are any good ways to lose weight in 2 months time ( thats how long our summer is!) %26 I'm also doing a few TV commericials on Disney Channel and I don't want people to be saying " Hey , that kid is chubby! Basically what the first two people said. Cut out the junk food. When you want to snack on something eat some fruit. No soda, at all. Drink only water (yes it is hard but once you start doing it your body actually craves water) Take a walk or jog for at least 20 to 30 minutes 6 days a week. It is hard to break old habits, but once you do you start to reap the benefits. I use to weigh about 195 lbs and now I am at 146, with much more muscle and a lot less fat. I can almost see my 6 pack coming in. Very worth it. Plus you can cheat on your diet once a week, I do.
Eat healthy.
cut down on sodas, chips, candy, cupcakes, chocolate, etc.
eat lots of greens
take walks everyday atleast twice a day.
drink lots of water..more than anything else.
at the least 8 glasses of water.
well at least exerscise for 20-30 min then jusy eat fruits and vegdibles and then that is it

I am a female who is 19 years old who really want to lose weight. I have been strugeling to do so for a while now. What can i do to get the maxim results? How soon after i start excersing and eating healthy will i start seeing results? If i want to lose 30 pounds what time frame am i looking at? Oh and i really want to tone my upper body (arms, back, and chest) any good segestions on how to do that? Oh and if this helps i have a gym membership. Thanks

that all depends on your current size, including height and weight. you also need realistic goals, and you need to be doing it for the right reasons. 9 times out of 10, cosmetic is NOT the right reasons. I cant give you real advice, until I know what it is you have to work with (your body size).
If you eat 5 to 6 small meals a day your metabolism will speed up. I do it all the time when i want to lose some weight and it works. So eat like every 2 and half to 3 hours apart in small healthy portions and excersise. Drink lots of water too.
Do some cardio like running, aerobics, swimming,or even dancing or anything that you like to do that will get your heart going for whatever duration you can tolerate. Do some target excersises using light weights or you can use the machines they have at the gym. Just start slow and make sure you always stretch before doing any kind of exercise. Cardio goes first then right after target exercises with weights. Within a week of doing that I could see myself losing weight. Not by scale because i was gaining muscle from excersising, but by inches. Also to tell if you are losing fat and not just water weight and muscle mass, there are these test strips that i had found at walmart supercenter that you use to see if your body if burning the fat stored on you and not just the food you are consuming. They test for ketones in the urine which are the byproducts of fats that you store. You either pee in a cup and test that way or just pee on it. Just follow the instructions. there is a chart that you match up on the tube. If the color is different than the control then you are burning the fat stored. I ran tests and took one strip before i started doing that 3 hour eating program and excersise and the color on the strip wasn't any different than the control. I did it three different times each on different days to make sure it wasn't the strips. Then i started on the program and after two days i took another test and the color changed. It was a very light change in color though. After two more days of the program i took another test and it was darker than the previous one, etc and more of the color that represents ketones in the urine. I too could feel and see a difference on my body as well so i knew that it was working and always works everytime i follow that program. Its very motivating too, to see that you are burning the fat stored and feel your clothes fitting differently too. Your metabolism wiil speed up because the body knows that it is getting food without going hungry for a long period of time and since it uses energy to digest the food you eat then at 3 hour intervals its constantly getting what it needs and keeps everything working more effeciently. If you don't eat or starve yourself, your metabolism will slow down because your body will go into survival mode, where it slows down to keep what you eat longer and yes you might lose some weight at first but when you go back to eating normally again, you'll gain it right back and more because your metabolism has changed to a slower mode.Any ?'s, you can contact me.Hope this helps. good luck!

As long as all these things are creating a calorie deficit then yes, you will lose weight.Fat loss is simply burning more calories then you take in so your body dips into your fat storages and makes your fat cells smaller.If you create a calorie deficit of at least 500 calories a day, you will lose 1 pound a week. So if you eat 1500 calories worth of food today but you burned 500 calories from aerobics, then an extra 1500 just for being alive (what your body burns every day on its own) then you will have created a calorie deficit of 500 calories. I would suggest cutting down the aerobics to about 40 minutes and adding a weight routine at the begining. Then your feet won't hurt. Use the weights for high reps say like 20 or 30. This will help burn fat in all areas.

Try doing the fruit and water diet for a week (which is when you only eat fruit and water.) and try running most of your town. That really helped me and I've lost 10 pounds!

Eating healthy and exercising is the key to weight loss.Eat foods such as, chicken breast, salad (with light or fat free dressing), turkey, fish, and egg whites are good. Anything with protein, and remember everything in moderation. (also remember, never starve yourself, that is not the way to go because you eventually end up malnourished and get really sick.) Nuts are also good, but in moderation. Popped popcorn without butter is good. Also, you can do one cheat day where you allow yourself maybe a cookie or something,Remember to get lots of protien into your diet, because protein keeps you fuller longer. Wheat bread also has protein, but eat bread in moderation.Also, fruits are good on a diet, but do not overload because they have sugar.Eat about 1200 calories (remember do not crash diet. I lost 32 pounds in 2006 but now it seems to get harder to get fit. People tell me that when a person wants to lose 30 to 50 pounds for the first time its easy but then it gets harder. Why is it? I heard this happens because your body needs to get use to your new body, I don't know if its true.

Usually the first 20-30 is easy and then you taper off not because your body has to get used to it's new shape but because it's gotten use to it's new diet and activity routine. You need to change it up. A good way to jump start would be add in an extra 500-1000 calories a day (good calories though, fruits %26 veggies) for only a week then drop back to what you were. Your body would have gotten use to the higher calories and then will crave them when you change back and thus begin burning again. Happened to me after I lost 50, I "jumpstarted" and lost another 30.

If you gained the weight back and are trying to re-lose it that may be the problem. People crash diet for a certain event or season and then go back to old habits that made them overweight in the first place. The best bet is to lose the weight slowly with diet and exercise. A pound a week is attainable and maintainable. Once you've achieved the size you want you have to maintain it. It will be easier to maintain the slow weight because your body won't think it's dying and try to put back on the weight en masse. Also losing the weight fast usually makes the skin around your waist, arms and inner thighs hang because it doesn't have time to adjust to the lack of adipose deposit below it. Breasts will also tend to sag from excessive weight loss. Since the idea is health and beauty, avoiding this would be key.

i have been struggling with my weight ever since i was a baby. i am just chubby from the get-go, but recently have let my self go. i have this very special occassion coming up so i need to be fit (which means, losing 30 Ibs) i have been exercising and eating sensibily, while limiting my caffeine and carb intake and have lose 5 Ibs in two weeks. That is the normal weight lose, i know but i want to kick it more and see if i can lose more. I walk (fast paced) for an hour most days of the week, and drink lots and lots of water. Is there anything else i can do in order to lose this weight a bit faster..please dont say do resistance training, i hate it.

I am somewhat thin, and mainly eat bananas and drink Diet Coke. Caffiene is a great weight loss aid, they add that to many diet pills.
Sounds like your doing all the right things and remember if you lose weight slowly it has more chance of staying off.
Just keep doing what your doing and watch your portions.

You could eat healthier like a salad for lunch, oatmeal for breakfast, and chicken or salmon for dinner w/ veggies, and absolutely nothing fried or fatty or cooked in fat or oil. And try walking and/or running a mile a day or twice a day!

I see you are watching you caffine intake, but change to a diet soda will help a lot. I to suffer from being over weight. I have been watching my carbs as well. Most of it is also the amount of sugars in things because they turn to carbs if they are not burned off. You can also change to complex carbs, such as wheat breads and triscut crackers. Watch your label for the carbs and sugars. Also watch them for enriched flour. Enriched flour is very bad for the dieter. Raw is better. Eating raw fruits and veggies will lower the number of preservs in the body. Good luck.
I hate to say it, but resistance training. It will make you look leaner and more defined. Otherwise, I guess kicking up your cardio by walking faster/longer. Try walk/run intervals or add swimming, aerobics, spinning, biking to your routine. I also suggest trying Weight Watchers.

Start out walking slower so your muscles can get loose, then speed up the longer you walk. Speed walk for about 10 minutes then slow it down for 2. You don't have to walk that hour each time-split it up in 20-30 minute walks. You will see better results. I know you don't like resistance training, but you could use your own body weight to tone up your muscles. When you do this your more likely to loose more weight because muscle burns the fat off your body. I wish you luck.
Counting calories is your best option. Don't restrict carbs and fats too much; everyone needs them a bit in their diet... so portion control is really the best way to lose weight efficiently and keep it off. I would aim for a healthy 2000 calories. This way, you are not fasting and therefore are not tempted to binge in retaliation. Keep walking and drinking water- this should work well for you!

Yes, it can be done. That is, if you do exactly what you said. From experience, I found it very hard to stick to a very strict diet and regular workouts. I would advise you to do these things gradually. Don't overwhelm yourself, especially if it's your first time. Because you might lose your enthusiasm and quit. You need to be really disciplined and determined if you want to lose that much.
Also, take care of your health. Some people unconciously hurt their bodies when they diet.
well yes it is possible to do this but keep in mind that if you are wanting to loose weight you need to watch your protien intake. Usually doctors make you go under their watch if you are wanting to loose this much weight in this little amount of time so keep a journal if you feel bad you can keep track of if you didnt eat enough or if you ate something that maybe didnt agree with you.I might want to mention that eating salad and baked chicken are not really going to do you much good you need to eat at least 4 little meals a day to keep up your bodys intake of carbs and proteins. you're doing all the right things already. you're on your way...Your attitude will get you there in no-time. Just do it! Don't skip workouts. Don't be discouraged at plateaus. It takes the body a while to figure out whats going on all of a sudden. Keep your body guessing. Mix up your workout routines. Yes, the mayo clinic diet will do it. I have done it many times.. but be advised.. you will put it back on shortly after.. it is all about changing habits.. if you do not change your eating habits.. you will put the weight back on within 6 months or less.. Mayo clinic, 2 weeks.. 20 lbs.. I know that for a fact.. I have succeeded several times.. please note that several times.. it worked.. but I had to do it every 6 months... cause you put it back on.. best bet is to just change your eating habits.. Last June, 2006, I found out I was diabetic, and I have lost 23 lbs since then, and I haven't even worked at it, I just changed my eating habit, and I have not gained an ounce back... that is the best way to go... If ya gotta lose weight quick.. you will gain it back quick too..

everybody is different. some ppl cud lose 10lbs some maybe only 5. depends on ur body's metabolism. but either way its great 4 ur body and u will lose weight if u keep it up. also, because ur using ur legs so much ur muscles will build up so u may not notice much differnet in ur weight - u may b losing fat but the muscle u r gaining is heavier. good luck!:)

I have lost a total of 120 pounds so far.
I lost 105 pounds in my first 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me. Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. It depends on your diet. The best way to lose weight is diet and exercise. If you eat healthy and exercise you should see a drastic change within a month. I can't say exactly how much weight you will lose. It depends on how much you weigh now. How fast you are running and your metabolism. Along with your diet. Losing too much weight too soon is not good. I would say no more than 5 pounds a week is good. Just keep it up and you will see results.
Depends on how your caloric intake has changed. There are 3000 calories in a pound I believe so you need to take into account the food you were eating before and everytime there is a 3000 calorie difference, you will lose a pound. Dont worry about the weight though. Just keep doing it because being healthy is a lot more important than weighing a certain amount. Hope that helps.

It's not just about exercise, it's about the food you eat.I just start 3 weeks ago on a fitness program. I lost 12 pounds, that's 4 pounds a week! I had a HUGE stomach, now it's 85% gone. I was 178lbs when I started, now I'm at 166lbs, 5'10".
I'm an 34 year old adult male, with a very experienced nutritional expert and personal trainer, you still might want to consider speaking with a nutritionist because your age is different.This is what I did:
No fast food, no sodas (only water and LOTS OF IT, not even gatorade) no fried food, nothing creamy, nothing with sugar, no starches (no potatoes of any kind), no rice, no ketchup, and NO PIZZA, NO CHEESE, no white bread, no corn, no butter, minimal salt. No carbohydrates which means pastas.
Avoid tomato sauces or ketchup, FULL OF SUGAR! No cookies, chips, most junk snacks. Basic restaurants I avoid: Places full of greasy food, chinese, mexican, italian. What I am eating:
Lots of chicken, fish, and salads.

Eventually I want to get it to 15 max height and 4-5mph.The treadmills at the gym ask for your height/age/weight, and you put in the time/speed/height and you'll know exactly how many calories you are burning.Make sure you are pushing yourself on the treadmill where your body is soaked with sweat and it's a killer workout. I started out at 7height/3.0speed/20 minutes and just kept moving up. Also remember, every minute after 20 minutes of your workout you BURN STORED FAT. So the sooner you get to 60 minutes, the better. Don't forget to stretch a little bit beforehand and always do the cooldown(about 5 min). You don't need more than 60min on a treadmill.Remember 80% is diet 20% is exercise. The combination of diet and 1 hour of treadmill 3-6 times a week will MELT POUNDS AWAY. You'll be severely decreasing your fat intake, and then burning calories which will allow you to burn stored fat. (Seriously, just getting rid of chips/junk food/fast food/sodas/fried food/Pizza and cheese, goes a long way).It's all mental. You have to be mentally prepared to change your diet, which is a big thing. People go into a depression when they lose their favorite foods. My trainer warned me sometimes people have withdrawal symptoms from certain foods like cheese. Then the treadmill is also mental, my body tells me to stop but I have to keep going even when I'm so tired or in pain from being so sore. Having an ipod and playing fast or rock music has helped A LOT.Water is super important I believe it's 64oz minimum, the lactic acid causes the soreness after the running, water helps reduce that. It's also important for hydration, and water helps keep hunger pain away. When I do get hungry between meals I'll have a lean body protein bar or a healthy granola bar, or I have a HUGE bag of carrots and you can eat carrots all day long, that's my snack food, no more chips.

This trainer has 20 years of experience, is a specialist in nutrition and on his way to getting his M.D. so you couldn't get it from a better source. You are probably not as fat as you think you are. Also, you may have not kicked in with losing some baby fat still as well. Just keep doing what you are doing and eat healthy, stay active and do not become lazy or else you will become fat and not the tolerable fat either.
Well I'm not overweight, but what I do to keep healthy is, take the long way home, do some crutches/sit-ups, stop eating the chips, and eat an apple, or some other friut. You could also have a smoothie for breakfast. What I do sometimes is look in Woman's Day, RedBook, and other women magazines, and take some tips from them on how to lose weight, or how to plan a heathy meal. If you aren't into sports then you can get your physical activity another way. DDR is a great way to get excercise. Or, just put on some music and dance around your room for a half an hour. BUT, do NOT overwork yourself because that can have serious consequences. The most important thing to remember when trying to lose weight is to not lose too much weight. Crash diets and overworking your body are not the right way to lose weight. Eat right and control your portions. When your excercising, if you feel dizzy, weak, or nausious, stop and take a drink or water or rest for a minute. Remember: 5-2-1. find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I have found that eating less carbs and more protein helps me lose weight. I keep smoked almonds all the time for when I want something to snack on. Well, jogging is good to get your heart rate up. Then you can do anything from crunches to pushups...whatever you want. Just remember that if you don't get your heart rate up before working your muscles, your muscles will build under the fat, instead of burning the fat.

Hi Sweetie, I was overweight when I was a teen. You are not that overweight. And even once you lose the weight you are still going to be the same person...it wont overly change your life. People that are mean to you will probably still be mean to you, and if they suddenly start to like you they are not at all real friends. Here are some tips that helped me drop a lot of weight...- Drink lots and lots of water.
- NO regular pop - none - too much sugar
- Walk - walk every day - the more active you are the less chance you have to eat and the more you rise your metabolism.
- Cut out the junk food. Snack off low calorie and low fat items. Avoid empty calories. Read labels.
- Cut down your portions.
- Ask family and friends to be supportive. But, you are probably a really great girl as you are - so also just try to love and accept yourself the way you are. Good Luck!!

Ok well first off, I'm going to say what I think most people are going to tell you. Eat less exercise more. And this is true, but there is a certain activitiy in the "exercise" part that I think is more effective than a bunch of other stuff. I believe that swimming can make you lose weight very very quickly. In fact, I lost 1 pound a day simply by swimming 2 hours each day.
This dosen't have to be really intense swimming. If you have a pool at home, swim there, or if you don't, go to your local YMCA or public pool. You can invite friends and go swimming with them or you can just have fun with your family. Just have fun, play games, swim around, or just wade around in the water. You see, the point here isn't really isn't to move around. it's to stay in the water. Being in the water will make your body become dense (although I'm sorry to tell you that I don't exactly know why this happens, I'm only telling you this from my own experience), and you can lose a pound or 2 in 2 hours.

Read the calories label on the packages. Increase the Protein calories. Reduce the Fat calories. Also, pay attention to the types of Fat calories. Eliminate Trans Fat.
Reduce the Carbs. Remember that Sugar is a Carbohydrate. Reduce the Sugar calories by either cutting out the Sugar or using Sugar Substitutes like Splenda (my favorite), Nutri-Sweet, Sweet-n-Low, etc.
Try to make the Protein calories more than the Carb calories when possible.
And Exercise. Walking is easy. Get a work-out video. I love Pilates. It's low impact and includes working muscles you didn't know you had. It's a lot of fun.

I am ready to start a work out routine but I want to make sure I am going to be doing what is needed before I start.
I am thinking about going to the pool to do laps about 3 nights a week, going to the gym 1 night a week and walking as much as possible.

I think that that is a very well written plan. To start every morning, I would definatly talk a long brisk walk, since you are supposed to take 10,000 steps a day. I would definatly eat healthier, and maybe 20 pushups, or situps each morning. The only think that I also recommend you to do is the long walk, and the short, dailey, pushuos or situps.
to lose weight you have to be doing cardio (swimming, jogging, hiking, spinning, running, elliptical etc) 4-6 days a week for 30-50min (preferably 45min) and combine it with light weight training and healthy eating plan. make sure you consume enough calories otherwise you wont lose any fat.

are you ready for this?? its called the ECA cycle. E=ephedrine, C=caffeine and A=asprin. Now to do this cycle you must be willing to exercise like 3 -4 times a week and its always good to eat healthy small portion meals 4-6 times a day. Well I've lost weight, and I'm getting into shape, but the weird thing is, I can see a big difference on my ribs. Like I am starting to see my ribs more clearly, as in the bones. Losing weight from the most inconvenient places?

I'm working out to reach my weight loss goal of 5lbs which will bring me to 120 lbs from 125 lbs which I'm now at. im trying to loose weight at the moment too. I try and go for a walk everyday, whether it be for 60 minutes or just a walk around the block, make sure you get at least 10-15 minutes in everyday.For the last week or too, i take a ball with me and bounce it as i walk or run, or kick it along the ground in front of me. I know it sounds stupid, but it actually keeps me forcused on something. I took a soccer ball yesterday and kicked it along, and interchanged between kicking it hard and soft. So when i kicked it hard, i had to sprint to get it. It may sound silly, but i do it to keep forcused because i get bored easily.Also, try and do some cardio. Skipping is a great example. I do skipping for about 5 minutes everyday, more if i can. If you cant do push ups, try doing some against a wall. Stand about a metre away from the wall and do pushups against the wall as you would normally. If you have weights, try doing some quick exercises to tone your arms up. You can get some easy exercises from any fitness site. And if you dont have weights, purchase some dumbells, their not too expensive and it will pay off.Hope this has helped a little bit.

u can lose weight as well increase your muscle u just do exercise before break fast eat light thinks like veg soup single chapati etc and as well u can do muscle exercise u even do stomach exercise because it looses fats and decrease weight{ with your same dumble}
Hi you could do sit ups while holding one of your weights behind your head.. lay flat on your back and lift the weights in a side curl fashion.. Or sit in a chair and get 2 paint cans (full) and do curls and side lifts with them.. trust me they will get heavy real quick..you can also do "twists" side to side with the weights to help with your abs.. Losing Weight . . . .Help !?

Hey, I need to lose weight FAST, but i'm NOT prepared to starve myself. I am size 14 or 16 and I want to be a size 10, in the next few weeks. I walk about a mile each day - And can't really do much more walking ( No where to go and have other things to do ) Can't go to the gym, nor work out at home. But i do have a trampoline, which I go on for about 2 hours per day.
I need to eat my dinner - Which is a sandwich ( Normally tuna and cucumber ) With a glass of coke. Tea is normally something with chips, like chicken nuggets, garlic kiev etc. What can I do to lose weight quickly. I am going on holiday which is why I need to lose the weight. Anyone ever lost this much in a few weeks, Any tips ? Thanx

ok first of all cu tout that coke! Did you know on average you loose 13 pounds a year by eleminating 1 glass of coke per day. Eleminate all you're chips. Exercise alot. limit you're daily calorie consumption to 900- 1200 don't eat desert and replace cokes with choclate milk reduced fat. Try not to eat alot or at all when you arent hungry.
Just a hint: If you have two hours a day to jump on your trampoline, why cant you walk longer? Also, instead of jumpin on your trampoline, try jump roping, its better for you.
Cut out all sugar. This includes Coke.
Keep up the walking, increase if possible.
No eating late at night.
Good breakfast every morning.
Step up water intake.
Step up vegetable intake.

start eating lean cuisines or smart choice frozen dinners for lunch and dinner. drink diet coke or ice tea. try jogging in the morning and you should drop some weight but its hard to lose the much weight in so little time. Losing twenty pounds by september?

i just want to shape up before i go back to school. i started a diet/exercise plan last week and i am wondering if i am doing the right things. i wake up, eat some kind of fruit for breakfast (apple, peach, strawberry, etc.) with a glass of water. i then eat either a baked potatoe or salad for lunch and a very light dinner. i sometimes snack on bananas or applesauce. at 2:00 or so everyday i get on my mom's treadmill and run 2 miles with a 3.0 incline. i burn about 300 or so calories doing that. i just want to know if i am doing enough to lose 20 pounds before i go back to school and before i go on my trip to the beach. please answer this question with as much knowledge and/or advice you may have. thanks so much.

Be careful of your calorie intake. Too little is just as bad as too much. I agree with the others about weightlifting. For best results, do not lift too heavy or too light. You may want to three sets at increasing weights. Weightlifting works well after your workout, helping to burn calories.
ur doing about the amount to STAY at the ur weight instead of gain more...you need to do some more to actually LOSE it. maybe try some weight training...so that way u build muscles, and u will burn extra calories naturally. im trying to los 20 pounds by september too.except my school starts in eary august. =[ so yeah..you ve made a GREAT start tho...so congrats to you!

wow, i think you are doing great. i am trying to lose twenty pounds also, and i'm ...kind of not doing anything, compared to you. i'm just trying to not eat junk food like pizza, cookies, ice cream, hot dogs, etc. so far i've lost five pounds and am proud of myself, but feel that i am on the brink of gaining it back in a snap. (it's happened before, sigh) so no, i think you're doing great. i wish i had a treadmill to run on. but then again i could go outside and run, I just don't.
Eat small meals a day, replace snacks with vegetables, fruits, pudding (sugar free), peanut butter. Also drink slim tea. Exercise regularly, at least three times a week.

ive had problems with my weight my whole life but finally ive gotten to a healthy weight. when i was in 2nd grade. i basically stopped eating. id probably eat an apple and an orange every day. i got down to about 60 pounds(which was really bad, cause i am sorta big boned) when my parents got worried about me and made me start eating, i gained weight rapidly. by 4th grade, i weighed 130 pounds. Now im about to turn 13,and i weigh 105 pounds(which is healthy for my body mass)
i know, im about to sound like a worried parent, but your "diet" needs to be tweeked a little.
Right now, since you're eating so little, as soon as you start eating normal again, you'll start gaining weight like crazy.
i promise, you cant eat fruit and baked potatoes for the rest of your life. plus, if you do lose 20 pounds by vacation, most of it will probably be muscle. so, you need to eat a more bablance diet(id like to call it an eating lifestyle)
heres just a sample day:
Breakfast: a bowl of plain oatmeal or toast and fruit
Snack: 1/2 apple
Lunch: chicken tenderloins or breast over a salad
snack: other 1/2 of apple
Dinner:Pita pizza:pita bread, tomato sauce, fat free cheese and turkey pepperoni of veggie pepperoni(yes, they actually have that)just microwave that for 2 minutes(on average)
then if you get hungry a little later, one of my fav. snacks is to cut up a peach and cook it on a skillet with some cinammon.
You should probably do some wieght workouts too:)
