so heres what i did today
1 hour of cardio and lights weight

You can buy supplements that will have all the vitamens and nutrients you'd need from the fruits, vegetables and protein that you'd need to have a solid fat buring workout. A really good store to go to is The Vitamin Shoppe, they have really good deals there. Of course you don't NEED these supplements but it will most likely help. And also if you have the time or equip, everyday, 5 minutes after an hour of cardio, throw in a 10 minute workout on a bike or some DIFFERENT type of cardio equipment because your body will be tired and will be in a state of confusion and it will burn more fat and wip itself into shape much quicker. You haven't mentioned anything about dinner. Breakfast and lunch are okay, but dinner must be equally frugal. However, remember to have a balanced diet consisting of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fibre, vegetables in the correct proportions.
This is gonna sound like alotta work, but I've had the best results by keeping a food journal. You MUST write down EVERY single thing you eat and how many calories it is. That means you will have to do alittle investigative research, but you will end up being educated on what foods are highly caloric (and bad for you) and what aren't. And if you have to write down that candy bar or chips, you won't be so abt to eat them!! I was amazed at how many hidden calories I was taking in when I first started. Good luck!
Okay stick with fruits, whole wheat's(like bread and rice, grains, veggies, fish, chicken low fat cheese and milk or soy milk better. Always check labels for fat, sodium..I would only eat what I suggested above only..If you cook veggies use olive oil or steamed you can eat until you are full. You do need good oil every day..Olive, canola, almonds, avocados limited 1/2 a day like with a salad..Eat as many veggies that aren't cooked in your salad..Remember salad dressing has a lot of fat so stick with low fat dressings..Check labels

So I'm over weight %26%26 lately I've been chaning the way I eat, %26%26 exercising alot more. Can anyone give me some good tips on how to lose the weight and KEEP it off. Also, its been really hard to even get the the gym, but i have an exercise ball, and some resistant bands... HELP! thnx :) :)

stocking your fridge up on a lots of vegtables and fruits - fruits are a great answer to sugar cravings.
Work out every other day

Have you tried the South Beach Diet? It has really helped me. It is a healthy way to lose weight. If you follow the diet exactly you can lose up to 14 lbs more in 2 weeks, but you have to really want it. It is not a hard diet at all. The first phase of it can be a little tough because you have to cut so many things out of your diet, but after week two you can start adding things back in.
Do a little exercising with it and you can lose what you are wanting.

I have tried many diets and they don't work for me I would suggest just smaller portions,instead of using a dinner plate try using a dessert plate have the size of a dinner plate and eat lots of fruit and vegetables.

Unfortunately there is no way to "spot reduce" (ie, get rid of more fat in one area than another). Fat loss tends to be equally distributed all over, so as it's coming off your butt, it will also be coming off your boobs and upper body as well. You can try to do some strength exercises to improve your muscle tone in your thighs, but our basic shape (pear, hour-glass etc) is largely the genetic hand of cards we are dealt. You can lose weight and be a "smaller pear shape", or gain weight and be a "bigger pear shape", but I'm afraid, pear-shape is what you'll always be. Try to learn to love your shape, you'll be living with it for a long time :-) As long as you are already in a healthy weight-range - neither too big or too skinny - and have good strength and muscle tone, your better bet is to be researching good clothing choices that help you draw attention to the areas you prefer. Something like the book "What you wear can change your life" (Trinny %26 Susannah, the "What not to Wear" girls) can give good advice.

i'm 18 and a half, 5 foot 2 and about 135 pounds. i'd like to get down to 120-125 pounds by the end of the summer (late august so i have about 8/9 weeks?) and lose one size so my jeans wont be so tight anymore haha
i love working out but i can't seem to control my hunger. i'll eat a ton of food, and they go mountain biking for an hour and then do pilates...i've tried to cut back on food but then it seems like i don't have enough energy to work out at my usual intensity, and i end up just going overbored and pig out again...

Often times we are not the only ones in our homes and therefore the call of the food must be withstood. In this case, out of sight truly is out of mind. Put unhealthy, unfilling foods in a drawer or in a cabinet that you rarely use. Put them all together to make a particularly unappetizing sight. Don't place them all in a decorative basket out on the counter. Place them in a drawer. A drawer heaping with pastries rarely looks like anything but a drawer of fat.

I know where you are coming from, I am also like you, i get obsessed with food. I found initially hypnosis can help, when i had it done it associated something horrid that i hated with the food i loved, it works to a certain degee so it is worth trying it out. I still have my bad days but most of the time it is under control, i carry around a water bottle that i drink from if i find that i am reaching for food.
It is hard to break this know but you have to find something that works for you, hypnotherapy started me on the right track but i have to work at it some days and the water thing help me too.

I know how you feel! I have felt like that ever since having my first child %26 not being able (ok being to lazy to try) to loose the weight I put on throught it.

I didn't do this with the view to losing weight, but with the aim of getting somewhere near the "5 a day" fruit %26 veg.
Over the past year I have lost 2 dress sizes %26 have not felt any hunger pangs through not eating the same amount of rubbish I used to.
Of course I now need to find some form of exercise that I will not only enjoy, but stick to to help the weight loss to continue.

That kind of attitude can lead to bulimia.
If you are hungry a lot and you are trying to lose weight, then you will eat anyway and afterwards, you will feel like a failure and guilty about it.
Then you will do anything in your power to get rid of it. I am not saying you are going to be bulimic.

its hard i tried it and i succeeded, run 1 mile everyday, 100 sit ups, 50 side crunches( each side) do that every day for 2 weeks and ull be to where you want to be, just remember, you don't have to be as skinny as Nicole Richie women are as they are for a reason!! hope i helped!
Sorry, it is not possible to lose 15 lbs in two weeks. Reason: It takes 3,500 calories to make a pound of body weight. It takes 12 calories per pound to stay the same as you are now. So a 120# girl needs 1440 calories to stay the same. She has to give up 500 calories a day just to lose one pound a week. Better to go on a sensible diet and plan to lose about 2 lbs a week. You may be able to lose up to 3 lbs a week if you are very conscientious about what you eat AND if you exercise using a good cardio exercise for an hour a day. Do go to the library or your book store and check out a diet plan that will fit your lifestyle. These are a few of the sound diets out there:

i tried this once upon a time and i spiraled into anorexia. i lost 20lbs in three weeks. by the end of it i couldnt move because i was so weak. when i started eating correctly again i gained it all back, even with the proper diet. dont drop more than 2lbs a week or else your body's not going to take it too well. seriously.

Don't eat any junk food, no desserts except fruit, and exercise daily (walking doesn't count unless your over 50).
Fad diets and pills will not work.
Excercise and eat well. Also, I'd recommend cutting back on or giving up: soda (including diet), other sugary drinks (juice etc.) and alcohol. As each of these beverages have a lot of sugar and calories, cutting back on them can have a big impact on your waistline.
Cut your calorie intake to 1500-1800 calories per day. Cut out all red meats. Eat whole grains and low fat or non fat dairy. If hunger is an issue eat high volume, low calorie foods like fruits and vegetables. They will fill you up more and keep you full longer. I used this method and lost 25 in 5 months.
Sample menu:
Breakfast: Two egg whites scrambled with low fat cheddar, two pieces whole wheat toast, and one cup of skim milk.Snack: One small apple with two tbsp peanut butter, waterLunch: One can of tune mixed with half a cup of low fat cottage cheese eaten on seven reduced fat triscuits, water.Snack: Small box of raisin, Seven carrot sticksDinner: Salad with mushrooms and chick peas and 2 tbsp fat free dressing. ten pounds is pushing it! it would be unhealthy to try to lose all that weight so quickly. 5-8 sounds good...drink lots of water, eat in moderation, exercise more, and get off the computer! right now you could be jogging! that's if you are on the internet from work.

1.Set goals. You'll be better able to make a realistic weight loss plan if you know how much weight you want to lose.
2.Identify your weaknesses. Are you a bread fiend? Do you have dessert after every meal and every snack? Is McDonald's your second home? Find the weakness and throttle it. It does not own you, you are stronger and cooler than to allow some silly little craving to knock you off your path.
3.Throw away anything you know is tempting. Those cinnamon buns with 500 calories each? Gone. The ramen noodles in your cabinet? Gone. The problem is that this is not always feasible. Often times we are not the only ones in our homes and therefore the call of the food must be withstood. In this case, out of sight truly is out of mind. Put unhealthy, unfilling foods in a drawer or in a cabinet that you rarely use. Put them all together to make a particularly unappetizing sight. Don't place them all in a decorative basket out on the counter. Place them in a drawer. A drawer heaping with pastries rarely looks like anything but a drawer of fat.
4.Eat less, but eat more often. If possible, eat 4-5 meals a day. This helps your metabolism and blood sugar to stay level as well. This does require a change in your schedule. Eat less within 6 hours of your bed time. You're less likely to burn the calories closer to your bed time. It's fine to eat a large breakfast and lunch because your body will be working on burning those calories for the whole day. Large dinners are likely to go unburned and converted into fat.
5.Do not skip breakfast. If you don't have time to prepare breakfast, buy healthy breakfast bars or those smoothies on the go. It is important to eat breakfast to jump start your metabolism and give you energy for the day. Otherwise you will probably end up falling back on unhealthy foods during the day. Also, chewing more will ensure you get the most out of all the food and it will be digested faster. The more you chew, the more your appetite will be satiated.
9.Drink more water every day. Stay hydrated. 10.Increase physical activity. There are two ways to reduce net caloric intake: 1) reduce the number of calories in your diet and 2) Increase the number of calories that you burn in your daily activities. Both approaches are usually necessary and healthful and both are effective in losing weight. You can pick and choose which exercise you want to do, depending on your fitness level and drive. For example: walking, jogging, using the stair stepper, using cross training machines, swimming, tennis, and basketball. Weight training (and resistance training) can help reshape your body. The more muscle you have the higher your metabolism will be.
11.Find active friends. Find people that will drag you out to do more active things. It doesn't have to be much, but any exercise even walking around the mall is better than none.
12.Don't get discouraged. After one or two weeks of initial weight loss, it is quite common for your metabolism to slow down as it adjusts to the new calorie count. Stay on course and you'll see results. In some cases, the scale will tell you your weight is barely changing, but you may be gaining muscle weight while losing fat weight. Also make sure to weigh yourself first thing in the morning to try to avoid the fluctuations in weight due to water.
13.Take all advice with a grain of salt. Everyone is going to have some tidbit of information for you. What worked for them might not work for you. Take it all in stride and work with what is getting results for you. Trying to do everything everyone says will only cause overload.
14.Eat more protein. If you choose to go this route, do not cut out all carbs. If you do so, as soon as you start eating carbs again you will regain your weight back. Instead of eating stand alone pasta, throw some meatballs or chicken in. Eat some beans, they are high in protein and very healthy for you. Increase the ammount of protein, but not by too much. The more protein you take in, the more water you should drink as well.
15.Eat less calories. The average woman should eat around 2,000 calories a day and the average male 2,500. There's many ways to reduce the calories you intake. Try not to eat frozen dinners, pizza, or from fast food joints. There's also certain drinks, such as Green Tea that are calorie reducers. Lettuce is another calorie reducer, but be careful because dressing tends to have the calories. 6. i forgot this one - fidgiting and having good posture can burn up to 500 calories per day - which in 1 week = 1 pound!
you're not over weight,i'm the same age and i've been a little sick for a few weeks and my summer plan was to loose weight, but the meds make sure that doesn't happen.another thing i used to do was sprint down to the end of my street at night as fast as i could, take a break and then sprint back, it is fun, relaxing, and progressive, after a while i do the distance twice. it also is a great way to get rid of extra energy before going to sleep.try walking the dog more often, and biking. also try doing push-ups and crunches in between comercials while watching t.v..or when i practice my horn i play for about thirty min. and then go do somthing else, i have a short attention span, so this also helps when working out. i set a goal, and then go do somthing else, come back, and set another goal. before i got sick, this really worked, and i noticed a difference. what ever works for you, that way you can set a goal, reward yourself, and then another goal. just make sure you dont eat when you take a break (unless scheduled for like lunch) it is a great time for games, friends, or a magazine.good luckp.s. dont forget your fruits and veggies, also eat a few small meals a day, and write down everything you eat.
